Hosa Owner Michelle Schutte meticulously handles every aspect of HOSA’s production from their downtown Bellingham processing kitchen—a space she personally renovated with a bit of help from friends and a trusty sledgehammer. She takes charge of sourcing, fermenting, processing, testing, filling, tagging, counting, boxing, stacking, selling, delivering, and shipping every ounce of HOSA.

When Michelle isn’t busy concocting sauces and managing the complexities of HOSA, she can be found in her art studio, often with her real-life cat, Bear, curled up in her lap. She enjoys swimming in Lake Whatcom with her loyal old dog, Maybe, and indulging her culinary curiosity in her home kitchen, where she experiments based on her latest cravings.
